2022年3月22日（水）～24日（金）、東京理科大学野田キャンパスで開催された日本化学会の付設展示会に出展し、「女性活躍・ダイバーシティ採用フェア」を実施しました。 会期中には、230人超の大学院生・研究者等へパンフレットを配布し、本学名誉教授3名が推進室員2名とともに本学の取り組みや職場環境を説明・アピールした他、Zoomでダイバーシティ推進室長と来場者を結んだ質問タイムを設けました。また、本学をアピールする動画を常時上映し、閉鎖的・保守的な土地柄であるとか、へき地で研究リソースへのアクセスが悪い、等の、北東北地域に持たれがちなネガティブイメージの払拭をはかりつつ、本学教員公募への応募を呼びかけました。

　

We set up an Iwate University Diversity Recruitment Fair booth at CSJ (Chemical Society of Japan) Annual Meeting held on the Noda campus of Tokyo University of Science between March 22 and 24, 2022. Three professor emeritus of Iwate University and two staff from the Office for Equality and Diversity distributed pamphlets to more than 230 graduate students and researchers and made our university’s working environment appeal to them. We also set a question time to let visitors and our director of Office for Equality and Diversity meet on zoom. We played our promotional video as well, which helped trying to wipe off negative images of North Tohoku region, such as closed and conservative locality and poor access to research resources, and to promote graduate students and researchers to apply for positions at Iwate University.
